What the US Suspected on Tenth Anniversary

In the Los Angeles Times newspaper, there is an article about what America suspected to be a 9/11 anniversary plot titled, "U.S. seeks suspects in alleged 9/11 anniversary plot" written by Brian Bennett. September 11, 2001 marks one of the most chaotic times in recent United States history. A group attack took place on the morning of the 11th, attacking many different densely populated cities, some successful, and others, not. This attack is known as a terrorist attack. Just a few days ago marked the tenth anniversary of the tragic event that took place on September 11, 2001. The United States anticipated an "anniversary attack" on September 11, 2011. Most densely populated cities around the Manhattan and Washington area were under law enforcement control, as well as many US intelligence center officials, many undercover.

US intelligence and law enforcement officers found three men, traveling from Afghanistan to America. They were suspected to bomb tunnels and bridges in the New York and Washington area. Although they do not have evidence of what they suspected, Vice President Joe Biden quoted the US intelligence and law enforcement officers as "credible sources". These mens' close ties with Al Qaeda helped support Vice President Joe Biden's quote. Many different investigations were set up by the FBI in the Washington area, to prevent any further attacks, and to keep the peace in the city. Manhattan bridges and tunnels were stuck with traffic due to different checkpoints set up by the police department. The United States intelligence center was sure of an attack, but also thinks that they were able to be prevented because of the precaution took.
